Sometimes in the desolate bleakness of winter, the only flash of color is a perky cardinal...

I <3 cardinals...and I had fun drawing this one. I know he's a bit scrawny, but...I think he's cuter that way. ^^;; Alternate title: Seeing Red.

It's really good. Though I do have to say that it's body is a lot skinnier than it's supposed to be.

One of my favorite works of yours. The bare tree branch isn't really organic, and the cardinal is unnaturally skinny, but still a great piece.

Seriously, it really stands out. Nice job, btw. =] Probably just widen the the cardinal out a bit (even though you could use the idea that it's winter and there's not much to eat).

Yep, I am. I'm going into my sophmore year next year, so...yeah. Unless you count me as a sophmore the moment I finish my freshman year? :P I have no idea how that sort of thing works.

Technically, you're a sophomore the moment you graduate freshman year. I refer to it as limbo sometimes. :confused:
