Artist's Comments
I felt the need to draw something for Independence day. I suppose it's somewhat self-explanatory. Hah...I feel like a lousy American; I had to have a reference for the flag, just to make sure I got all the stripes just right and all that.
I enjoyed myself, though. This = Neko me. ^^ I tried to base it off one of my earlier drawings, but I'm not sure how successful I was. Ah well... I want to dedicate this drawing to everyone, every soldier, who has fought and died, no matter if it was many years ago or a few days ago, to keep our country free. Greater love hath no man, that he lay down his life for his friend.(I think that includes country as well...) Happy Independence Day everyone! Alternate title: Love This is #2 - Love in the Hundred Themes Challenge, Variation 1. I give full permission for  to add this to their gallery. |
