The Roar of Our Stars
Good morning, sunshine,
the only one (though
the world was built for two). You
are in safe hands
as long as you are there for me
at the rebirth of time.
Your summer skin,
the ghost in the washing machine,
flaking me off as
you take off.
Twinkle, twinkle, my little star,
my firewalker,
firestarter. With
your off-snow flakes
you don't know (so don't try to)
how the fallen
are mighty.
She's got eyes,
my distiller of tears:
the darkness and
stellar connections;
a super nova's roar and
the butterfly effect.
Behind the mask, the
lawless darkness and
morning lavender; the
TARDIS landing -
(her eyes
before and after) -
don't you slip away.
Don't you dare forget.
I know you hate me now, but
don't you want to know
her,
just for now?

My first found poem! I thought of the title piece at the last moment, and...well, yeah. I love it, love the art itself, and Doctor Who. In a way, this is about River Song and the Doctor (a little, at least). Most of the pieces were found through DA's Undiscovered thingie. Others were found through searching words. Many thanks to for this unique way to create poetry!
Anyhow, I'm sure I've messed it up rule-wise a bit, but it was fun. Let me know how I did!
